Pikuniku: The perfect children’s video game
As more Children get exposed to the world of video games it must be a high priority for their parents to ensure their purchasing decisions of video games are correct to satisfy their children's interest and avoid tough content.
This is where Pikuniku comes in to tick those decisions as I play the game and notice its playful and joyful world in which you get to play around. In this game, you get to play as an unknown creature shaped like a pill with long stretchy legs where you journey across the land to uncover these strange robots’ purpose in these peaceful lands. The main mechanic in the games mostly revolves around your legs and the shape of your body as you can roll around, kick, jump and swing across with your stretchy foot along with your brain as solve puzzles and test your reaction in challenges.
Overall, this game is mainly meant for much younger players who have just started playing video games with its simple challenges, story and gameplay along with its art style being visually appealing towards children with its bright colours and simple shapes. However, it could be more fun if the story was a bit longer as my short playthrough proves this point. Still, this game is a perfect game for children under the age of 10.
